Nostradamus and the 9/11 Attacks

Surely you have heard about the predictions made by prophets and philosophers in relation to what happened in September, 2001. And if so, you have heard about Nostradamus.

Michel de Nostredame (14 or 21 December 1503 – 2 July 1566), usually Latinised to Nostradamus, was a French apothecary and reputed seer who published collections of prophecies that have since become famous worldwide. He is best known for his book Les Propheties (The Prophecies), the first edition of which appeared in 1555. Since the publication of this book, which has rarely been out of print since his death, Nostradamus has attracted a following that, along with the popular press, credits him with predicting many major world events.

So, one of these major world events predicted by Nostradamus was the one that took place in September, 2001, in The United States.

Do you want to know a little bit more about this? If so, we propose the following link for you to visit.

9/11 Key Questions

Questions about the September 11 attacks

1-Which were the events before the attacks and targets?

Early in the morning of September 11 (2001), 19 hijackers took control of four commercial airliners, all of them en route to California State, specifically to San Francisco or Los Angeles after takeoffs from Boston, Massachusetts, Newark, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C. The hijackers selected wide–body planes with long flights intentionally because they would be heavily fueled. The targets were The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center complex in New York, The Pentagon in Virginia and The Capitol in Washington D.C (this one could not be attacked because of a passenger revolt that ended in the plane being crashed intentionally by its hijackers into the ground in Pennsylvania).

2-Which were the motives given by al-Qaeda to carry out the attacks?

Osama bin Laden's declaration of a holy war against the United States, and a fatwā (is a legal pronouncement in Islam) signed by bin Laden and others calling for the killing of American civilians in 1998, are seen by investigators as evidence of his motivation. In various pronouncements before and after the attacks, al-Qaeda explicitly cited three motives for its activities against Western countries: the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, the U.S. support of Israel, and the -economic- sanctions against Iraq.

3-Which was the Muslim American response after the 9/11 attacks?

Muslim organizations in the United States were swift to condemn the attacks and called "upon Muslim Americans to come forward with their skills and resources to help alleviate the sufferings of the affected people and their families". These organizations included the Islamic Society of North America, American Muslim Alliance, American Muslim Council, Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Islamic Circle of North America. Along with monetary donations, many Islamic organizations launched blood drives and provided medical assistance, food, and shelter for victims.

4-Which were the main consequences of the attacks?

Insurance companies lost millions of dollars; they were reluctant to continue providing coverage for future terrorist attacks.

Tourism in NYC feel strongly, the week after the attacks hotel occupancy fell below 40% and 3000 employees were fired.

5-What kind of memorials for the victims of the attacks on September the 11th do you know?

The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 stirred an international outpouring of support as artists and architects pondered ways to honor victims and affirm the resilience of the American spirit. Some designed massive monuments and museums.

One of the most famous memorials is the “Tribute in light” also known as “reflecting absence” Two reflecting pools symbolize the Twin Towers that were lost in the September 11 terrorist attacks. Cascading water suggests the whispers of the nearly 3,000 people who died.
